From Thursday, December 19 to Friday December 20, WECANERSIMA brought together senior sisters from different congregations working in the Central region of Malawi at Sisters of Our Lady of Africa conference Centre, Chinsapo in the Capital Lilongwe for a two-day conference.
About 50 sisters aged 60 and above attended the conference on ageing and wellness facilitated by Reverend Father Boniface Kasulo.
At the end of the conference, the senior sisters also interacted with specialized doctors one-on-one to assess their health status and needs, an exercise that was praised by the senior sisters. Later in the evening, the senior sisters enjoyed a social evening organized by the Team.
